We, the Data Controller as defined by the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), inform you about how we collect, process, and use ("Use") personal data in connection with the Services.

2. DATA COLLECTION, PROCESSING, AND USE

2.1 In general, you can use the Services without providing personal information such as your name, email address, postal address, telephone number, or financial information (collectively referred to as "Personal Data"). Unless you provide Personal Data directly or actively consent to its use, we generally do not use your data, except for the following:

  • 2.1.2 Regarding the App: Your mobile device transmits certain data, including your IP address, usage periods, and device type (e.g., iPhone, iPad). Events within the application are recorded with Amplitude analytics to continuously improve the App.
  • 2.1.3 Regarding the App: For free trial downloads of paid Apps, we may ask for a valid email address to initiate the trial.

  • 2.1.5 Regarding email: We retain communication records, including attachments and information voluntarily shared for troubleshooting, when you contact our support team.
  • 2.1.6 Emails sent by us via third-party services like Mailgun may contain tracking pixels to collect delivery and opening statistics. These pixels do not provide additional personal data. You can disable image rendering in your email client to deactivate this feature.

The legal basis for processing data in sections 2.1.1 through 2.1.6 is Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interests).

2.2 With your prior consent, we may use Personal Data for other purposes as needed in specific cases (legal basis: Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. a GDPR).

2.3 We may disclose Personal Data to third parties if required by law (legal basis: Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. c GDPR).
